Boss Lady Meg here, I created MKBK.llc to help with bookkeeping solutions and education in order to make the money stuff less exhausting. Basically, I am you - a small business owner wanting to know where my money is coming from and going to.

Fueled by 25+ years of practical experience in the finance world, I started my own firm in 2017. From the Midwest to both coasts, I have provided support across a wide range of industries. From bike shops, to bars & coffee shops, metal shops, real estate agencies, corporate finance, software companies, filmmakers, drag performers, writers, musicians, and fine artists- I take great pride in being a reliable asset and advocate for my clients, friends, and the communities we are part of. I’m an Elite Pro Advisor for Quickbooks Online and a Gusto Payroll Services Gold Partner.

Buy hey, it’s not all work! I’m also an artist (I make custom piñatas HERE), gallery owner (It’s VERY cool), home renovator, gardener, DIY extraordinaire, traveler, hiker, biker and dedicated dog mom.

Hello from MKBK.llc's Principal Badass Bookkeeper. I bring extensive experience with day-to-day small business operations. I work with clients and their tax professionals to make the books work for them. In my off hours, I am outdoors in all weather, out of town with friends, at a show/dance party, and enjoying life offline.

Better known as MKBK.llc’s Secret Weapon, I work with the team part-time. Formerly the co-owner of Farm Punk Salads, I’m back in school pursuing a degree in urban planning. I’m a voracious reader, lover of rivers, and also a not so secret raver with a passion for the worlds of ambient, dub, and techno.

Hello from the VP of Internal Mayhem. If you have 1099 needs, I’m your girl. I also love tackling a wide range of special projects for Meg and our clients- especially when they are design, event or snack related. When I’m not in the office I’m in my art studio where I work as a prop stylist and textile designer.

Hello from Mexico City! I’m a freelancer with hands in multiple projects. Born and raised in Portland, OR, I love being a part of the MKBK.llc team. When I’m not at MKBK, you can find me taking long walks around the city or painting while listening to audiobooks. I enjoy taking care of my plants and working on jigsaw puzzles.
